Mudlarking by the Thames

Whilst out for a run along the river this morning, we noticed how low the tide was so popped down onto the beach of the river Thames and did a spot of Mudlarking!

Here’s our haul of clay pipes, a shell, and lots of bits of broken pottery!

mudlarkWe went at about 10.45am down in front of the Custom House and Old Billingsgate market. A lovely way to spend 20 mins! Might have to go back to pick up some scallop shells : )
